Worship & Arts Ministry Opportunities

Worship & Seasonal Choirs
The worship choir helps to lead worship during our weekend services several weekends during the year. Our seasonal choir serves twice a year for our holiday programs. Members of our seasonal choir meet Wednesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. and rehearse at least two months prior to the production.

Vocalists
These teams lead the congregation in worship during our weekend services. Requirements include an interview/audition with Mike Dinsmore and weekly rehearsals (Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.). Multiple ensembles serve on a rotating basis, with a 6- to 12-month commitment. Members of the worship team must commit to all three weekend services when their team is on the schedule. Band
The band primarily consists of the rhythm section (keyboards, bass, drums, guitar) plus cello. The band accompanies the choir and worship team ensembles in during the weekend services. Requirements include a heart for worship, ability to read music, prior experience playing in an ensemble or band, and weekly rehearsals (Thursdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.).

Drama
Men, women and young people contribute to our worship and outreach programs through the vehicle of drama. All levels of experience are welcome, as we are prepared to teach and train those willing to give of their time and gifts as actors, readers, directors and writers.

Signs of Worship
This group occasionally accompanies special music productions through the use of sign language.

Seasonal Productions and Events
As we plan special events throughout the year - from Christmas to Easter - we offer various opportunities to serve in short-term, but more intense, commitments. Any and all of the above areas of service are usually needed.
