Missions

The Great Commission Fund enables the Christian & Missionary Alliance to build Christ’s church around the world by funding C&MA missionaries and missions related endeavors. Thanks to your faithful stewardship and prayerful investment of God-given resources, we are reaching many nations – some for the first time. Thousands once living in spiritual darkness are coming to know Jesus as Savior.

Missionaries Pine Knolls helps support:

Kathy Petteys is from this area and is serving with the C&MA in Venezuela. She works mostly with teens and young adults. Kathy is supported through your gifts to the Great Commission Fund. Venezuela’s political system is very unstable now and it is not safe for many of our missionaries serving there. Pray for her safety as she serves.

Craig & Sue Querfeld along with their 2 sons and daughter serve in Arequipa, Peru and have been there since 1995. They are missionaries with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission). Right now they are involved in church planting in El Camino. On May 6, 2001 a group of 20 people crowded into the living room of the Querfeld’s to worship together. This group has grown into a church with a kid’s club, junior high youth group, three Sunday school classes, a discipleship program, a biweekly men’s breakfast, and an English as a Second Language outreach program.

Wolfgang & Carol Maier along with their three daughters are serving in Ireland under UFM (Un-evangelized Fields Mission) International. The Maiers attended Word Of Life Bible Institute, before going to Ireland as missionaries in 1994. Wolfgang wrote that Cork county Ireland is 98% Catholic with a strong devotion to Mary who replaces Jesus in everything.

Glen and Jennifer Anderson along with their two sons and daughter are serving in Nepal under Inter Serve as part of a medical team working at a clinic. There is political unrest in the area where the Andersons are serving and they appreciate your prayers for them.

Jeff and Debbie Diehl are attend Pine Knolls Alliance and are currently raising both financial and prayer support in preparation for service as full time missionaries in Kosovo with CrossWorld Ministries. They plan to leave for that country in late summer of this year. They will be working among the 1.2 billion Muslims who live in Kosovo.

Please consider these good reasons for giving:

  • Giving releases money’s power. (I Timothy 6:6 –10)
  • Giving reminds us we are stewards. (Psalm 24:1)
  • Giving provides eternal riches. (Luke 12:33)
  • Giving is a blessing. (Luke 6:38)
  • Giving increases faith. (Philippians 4:11-13,19)
  • Giving Pleases God! (Philippians 4:18)
